Jenny attended East Carolina University for both her undergraduate and graduate degree studies. Serving Beaufort County for over 10 years, Jennifer is proud to be a part of Washington Therapy Center. She also has experience with childhood speech disorders including apraxia, selective mutism, stuttering, and articulation disorders. Jennifer has vast experience with autism and other complex language delays and disorders. She has worked since that time providing pediatric evaluations and treatment within the school, home, and child care setting. Jennifer received her Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology from East Carolina University in 1998. It is a great feeling to be a part of a team that makes a difference in the lives of people. I enjoy my job and the responsibilities that come with it. I maintain audit-ready charts and submit the requested information when audits are conducted. My staff makes my job easy as far as management needs, but I am here to assist and guide them when needed. A big part of my job is billing, which includes Medicaid, School Systems, Home Health Agencies, Outpatient Clinics and Third Party Insurance. I work closely with school officials regarding our contract renewals and with the teachers and staff members concerning any caseload needs or changes. I am responsible for interviewing and placing new employees, as well as payroll and benefit programs. Ten years experience in the medical field, including Billing, Management and Human Resource experience. My Name is Kim Woolard, I am the Office Manager of OT Plus and I have been with the company since September 2008. In her spare time, she loves reading, gardening, traveling and the theatre. Cathy is the President of the Democratic Women’s Club and an Executive Board Member for the Beaufort County Arts Council. She provides guidance and fulfills staff expectations in running the clinic professionally and profitably. Cathy coordinates and schedules events and camps for WTC. Cathy attended Martin Community College and Lincoln University where she received her Associate in Applied Science Degree. WTC was opened by Cathy and James Gaynor as part of their dream to give back to the community and to assist in providing quality pediatric care that is affordable and accessible for all. “I strive to provide high quality rehab services to each client with the primary goal being to facilitate their achievement of the highest possible level of Activities of Daily Living independence.”Ĭathy Gaynor is the Clinical Administrator of Washington Therapy Center. He is a member of the North Carolina Occupational Therapy Association (NCOTA) and the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). His current clientele ranges from pediatrics to patients 65 plus. James enjoys presenting on various topics within the realm of occupational therapy in order to educate clinicians, parents and teachers groups in the community. He has extensive knowledge in occupational therapy theory and intervention, and serves as a certified clinical fieldwork instructor with East Carolina University, Winston-Salem State University and Pitt Community College. James has worked in numerous settings including school systems, in-patient rehabilitation, out-patient rehabilitation, home health care, skilled nursing facilities, hand therapy, home, daycare centers, and 20 years of private practice. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from East Carolina University and has been a practicing therapist for 28 years. James is the owner of Occupational Therapy Plus, Inc.
